Helem: A Dreamy Escape with a Whimsical Touch

An oasis of calm and cool in vibrant Gemmayze. Made our Beirut trip! Positive: Friendly staff, beautiful decor, historic building, fabulous location, delicious breakfast, lovely lounges, terraces.

Nice and clean but won’t make it again Positive: Super clean and staff are friendly, location is good Negative: No sound proof doors i was able to hear everything inside and out in the streets which made my sleep not so well. Electricity went off multiple times during the day which also made us struggle with the elevator and everything depending on electricity, water went weak at sometimes during the day

Staying in this room was a special experience and would do it again for sure! Positive: Staying in this room was a special experience!! The decoration is creative and truly one of a kind. Located in the heart of Gemayze, the area is full of life, art, and history. The whole guesthouse has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. What touched me most is that part of the rent goes toward making a child’s dream come true , such a thoughtful initiative. The homemade Lebanese breakfast was delicious. Cannot wait to stay in Beit Tamanna again.
